Captivated by the Dalai Lama's wisdom while reading 'An Introduction to Buddhism,' I got inspired to create a vibrant Buddha earlier this year + wanted to experiment with complimentary colours. & That's why I chose a mainly yellow + purple design.

My inspiration for this art piece came from a fantastic game friends suggested I try. ‘Zelda: Breath of the Wild’ turned out to be spectacular fun. Since I'm learning how to draw better, I imagined a scene where Zelda’s defending Link and came up with this prompt:
“After the 1st battle with Calamity Ganon, Zelda carries Link to the Shrine of Resurrection — where he rejuvenates in a slumber lasting 100 years.”
I'd been working on using more ‘perspective’ in art + lighting, and making everything feel more volumetric
